Southwestern Book and Publishing Company, Saint Louis, 1873. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 356 pages (complete). A popular book at its time this is the continuation of the story of the struggles of the early days of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The author is not named within this edition. It was however James the Lesser, James B. Logan a minister at the Illinois church. For its age this copy is in good condition. The cover is strong, there is wear to corners and the head and foot of the spine. The front seam is cracked but secure. The frontispage has a previous retailer description label.
