"Chronicles of the Great Rebellion" is an outline of the American Civil War told from an elderly citizen from Memphis, Tennessee's point of view who witnessed the war. The outline is given utilizing biblical language with a Union bent for reunification. This 1864 edition, being published near the end of the war, gives information on Buchannan, Negro troops, Secession of South Carolina, Battles of Manassas, Shiloh, New Orleans, Vicksburg, Gettysburg, and Nashville, as well as notes on Generals Polk, Andrew Johnson, Stephens, and Sherman, and much more!
