Hardcover in original dark blue boards with vellum spine and gilt-lettered leather title label; 9.75 x 7.25 inches. A Limited Edition of 250 hand-numbered copies; tissue protected engraved portrait frontispiece, xix, 229 pages, including full index. A history of a now-defunct club that appears to have been associated with the Edinburgh Academy where James Cumming taught. Rich in details of former students providing biographical materials. Inscribed (by member?) to "himself" on ffep, covers a bit soiled, title label a bit chipped, else good overall condition. NOT EX-LIBRARY. (frnc)
