Norwalk, CT: The Easton Press, 1992. First Edition Thus . Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Arthur Rackham. pp: viii [1-2]3-173. Full red leather covered boards, elaborately decorated in gilt, all edges gilt, satin endpapers and ribbon marker. Also includes 'The Night Before Christmas' by Clement C. Moore. Illustrations by Arthur Rackham. Moore was a writer and Professor. He is credited and is most widely known as the author of the Christmas poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas", first published anonymously in 1823. It later became widely known as "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and has been published in numerous illustrated versions in various languages.
