The wraps are lightly rubbed & slightly darkened along the top edges & spine. There is a small area of very light soiling to the front wrap. [24] pages. Black- and-white illustrations. The top edge is darkened with a tiny stain. Very good. <p>An account of a 1912 journey on the "Wm. F. Herrin", a tanker with a cargo of California oil bound to Linnton, a few miles below Portland, on the Willamette River. The crew cut down some Christmas trees along the way and spent Christmas at Annabelle's hospitable house in Monterey.
