About This Item
Palo Alto, CA: Kodansha America. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. INSCRIBED, DATED [30 June 1976] AND SIGNED BY AUTHOR. First Edition [1972], so stated. Very Good in Very Good DJ: The Book shows light shelf wear to along the bottom edges, with one spot at the bottom of the front panel where the fabric is rubbed more heavily than the rest and slightly frayed; a small, faint soil spot at the fore-edge; very slight spine lean; binding remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. Structurally sound and tightly bound, showing moderate wear and minor, unobtrusive imperfections. While no longer "fresh", remains a sturdy, presentable copy with minimal wear and a clean text. The DJ shows rubbing and soiling; the protective lamination has chipped away in a few places at the front panel, though this is not so apparent with the mylar jacket cover; light wear to extremities; price has been clipped by the original retail seller and replaced with a gold paste-on stamp the the front flap; the back strip is very lightly sunned, but the titles thereon remain bold and clearly legible; mylar-protected. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Oblong 8vo. Language: English. Photographs by Yoshikatsu Saeki. Hardback with DJ. ; 136 pages; Signed by Author .
