Includes Vol. VI, July 1877 to June 1878 (pp.1-421); Vol. VIII, July 1879 to June 1880 (pp.1-393); Vol. IX, July 1880 to June 1881 (pp.1-398); Vol. X, July 1881 to June 1882 (pp.1-433); Vol. XI, July 1882 to June 1883 (pp.1-404);  Vol. XII, July 1883 to June 1884 (pp.1-519, lacking pp. 210-311); Vol. XIII, July 1884 to June 1885 (pp.1-432); Vol. XIV, July 1885 to June 1886 (pp.1-365); Vol. XVI, July 1887 to June 1888 (pp.1-389); Vol. XXI, July 1894 to June 1895 (pp.1-427).
This is a heavy set and will require additional shipping. 'The China Review,' in some ways successor to 'Notes and Queries on China and Japan' (which ceased publication in 1869) was established in 1872 to publish original papers on "the Arts and Sciences, Ethnology, Folklore, Geography, History, Literature, Mythology, Manners and Customs, Natural History, Religion, etc." and would cover "China, Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, The Eastern Archipelago, and the 'Far East' generally.
