The front free endpaper has been removed and the front hinge reglued with professional binder's adhesive. Moderate wear to the outside edges and some mild rubbing and very faint soiling to the panels. The Binding shows slight lean, but remains secure after the reglueing. The rear hinge shows just a hint of starting. The text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, or labels (of course, the reason the front free endpaper was removed may well have been to remove a former owner's information). NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.75 x 6 x 1.3 inches). viii, 246 pages. Illustrated with duotone drawing and designs by Frank C. Pape and Roy Anderson Ketcham. Deckle Fore-Edge.
