About This Item
New Haven, 1901. First edition. . Grey wrappers, sewn, front cover lettered in gold. Light wear to tips, binding string broken within, some soiling to the dedication page, fine otherwise. A 32-page booklet. A short, whimsical reminiscence of childhood, mildly fantastic. A note within reveals that this sketch first appeared in the New York Evening Post, under the title: A Child's World. This may be the same E.L. Morris who was the author of a number of botanical works.
