Faber and Faber, 1939. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1939. First Edition. 293 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over green cloth boards. Gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrations,. Clean pages and illustrations with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pencil and pen markings to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Minor splits to edges, spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a slight forward lean. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Minor loss to spine and edges. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.
