Type: Book Unpaginated aprox. 80 pp.- Undated 19th century - quarter calf over blind-stamped design on boards and gilt-stamped titling on front board and spine, marbled end papers and all edges marbled. This being an album of calligraphy invented and designed by H. Renoir to serve as a guide for monograms, carte de visite etc.... A very Edwardian enterprise, each letter of the alphabet put through all possible enhancement, each page of this oeuvre rating as a high quality etching. (edges of bdg. scuffed with small worn through spots along edges, clean and tight copy with one leaf loose) 0Photo scan available upon request.
