Philadelphia: David McKay Company, 1910. Decorative Cloth. Very Good -/Very Good +. The 1910 5th Edition, in its scarce pictorial dustjacket. Solid and VG- (very light staining along a number of the page edges [essentially not affecting the text at all], light waviness to the pages, small former owner stamp at the front pastedown) in a crisp, VG+ dustjacket, with very light chipping along the spine crown and the front panel's top-edge, light chipping to the corners, and very light, almost imperceptible staining along the front flap-fold. Still though, an impressive, very presentable copy. Octavo, 301 pgs. plus "A Supplememt to Cook's Chess Players' Compendium" by Alfred Emery.

Description:
David McKay Company. Hardcover. Acceptable. Used acceptable condition. Cover is worn with old staining in select spots and fraying at the corners and edges. The spine has fraying at both ends and minor splitting from the cover. A good strong binding holds the pages together very well! The pages are clean and legible with some pages being lightly torn from use (near the binding or at an edge) however it hardly detracts from this anachronistic title. This is a very nice copy of a rare out of print book! Expedited shipping available at checkout. Thank you for supporting small independent book stores!
