About This Item
Philadelphia: The Penn Publishing Company, 1930. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Anderson, Frederic A.. Bound in blue cloth with a 3/4 applique to the front cover; all titles in black. No additional printings. 267 pages. With four illustrations on coated paper, all present. Zempel and Verkler state that Penn did not indicate first editions at this time; this tends to verified by other collections we have examined where none of the three books in this Penn set have any title page dates. This copy does have a 1930 inscription date to the front free endpaper. Illustrated endpapers. The cloth is edgeworn with frays at the head of the mildly faded spine. Hinges solid. All contents clean and tight. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
