8vo, tan-yellow linen, boards, slipcase, illustrated with black and white and color photographs, 133 pp. Some yellowing to slipcase, one corner of slipcase starting, volume a bit yellowed, name in ink on front free endpaper; otherwise very good plus. This is a limited edition (1200 copies), which is signed by the author. It also has an introduction by renowned outdoorsman, Nash Buckingham (1880-1971).While this work includes a lot of information on bear hunting and the nature of bears; it also includes details about a still pristine Alaskan wilderness. There are a number of beautiful black and white and color photographs of the area.
