Text is clean and unmarked, tanning of pages due to paper used and age. Covers show heavy signs of wear with rubs, chip corners. This is from the Chatterbox Series of children's that started in the later 1800's. Both books are loaded with stories both fiction and non-fiction related to events of the period for children with both B&W and color illustrations.
