Very large, very heavy thick book, quality light brown cloth, very bright gilt lettering on spine, purple color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 737 heavy glossy pages. On reverse of second front end paper in black ink: "--To Chet, my oldest, truest, and most forgiving friend, and Bobbie, who is his. Faithfully, if fitfully, Ben. Buffalo, October 17, 1992." DJ glossy beneath mylar, maroon background, a beautiful color-illustration at front, on back a b/w photo of Burchfield. DJ has tiny tear and longer crease at top front edge. Near Fine DJ/Very Fine book.
