Reprinted with supplementary plates and a catalogue of additional documents, drawing and attributions.Charles Bridgeman was an eighteenth century English garden designer, who pioneered the naturalist landscape style. With 247 monochrome plates and a colour plate as the frontispiece. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some very slight wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper. There are also some very light markings to the dust wrapper. To the binding, there is some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Some of the plates are partially stuck together. Near Fine
