A First Edition in this format (First, Thus) from Harper & Bros, 1908, it has rich, royal blue-indigo boards with gilt & cream decoration & lettering to front cover & spine. In 133 pages, with color frontispiece & intact (but tanned) tissue overlay; 3 other full color illustrations in text by Sigismond Ivanowski. Exceptionally clean, binding straight & strong, creamy vellum pages with deckled edges. Very slight bumping to spine ends & corners. Stamp from old bookstore on inside front cover & gift inscription on ffep.No DJ as issued. A truly beautiful copy!
