Seeley, Jackson, and Halliday, 1883. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1883. Fourth Edition. 252 pages. No dust jacket. Grey pictorial boards with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated plates by J. Veyrassat and Karl Bodmer. Pages are rough cut. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Minor dog-eared corners. Plates are clear, although lightly tanned with foxing to edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with notable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Various liquid drops down spine.
