JANE URQUHART is the author of six internationally acclaimed novels: The Whirlpool , Changing Heaven , Away , The Underpainter , The Stone Carvers , and A Map of Glass . She is also the author of a collection of short fiction, Storm Glass , three books of poetry, and recently a short biography of Lucy Maud Montgomery for the Extraordinary Canadians series.
