About This Item

Exploratorium, 2013. Hardcover. Very Good. Unmarked text. 88p. Measures 6.25x9.25 inches. Contributors include Hugh E. McDonald, Karen L. Miller, Craig Williams and Tanya Luhrmann. Illustrated with both black and white and color images. The Changing Face of What is Normal: Mental Health, was one of the inaugural special collections to premiere at the Exploratorium’s re-opening on April 17, 2013 at San Francisco’s Pier 15. This book documents the exhibition. It asked visitors to put themselves in the shoes of others--and to imagine at one time or another, everyone feels different. “Normality” is a constantly evolving concept with a surprising range of definitions.
