About This Item
New York, NY Oxford University Press, 1976. Hardcover First Edition USA [1976], so stated. First Edition USA [1976], so stated. Near Fine in Very Good DJ: The Book shows a very faint patch of blanching to the cream-toned cloth over boards at the upper corner of the front panel, probably due to exposure to moisture; just a tick of wear to the lower corner of same; the text block is somewhat cocked within square boards; else flawless; the binding remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing unobtrusive cosmetic flaws. Bright and clean. Corners sharp. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows a coffee stain - or perhaps some other sort fo dampstain - at top edge of the front panel; mild overall rubbing; else flawless; the price is unclipped; mylar-protected. Despite the coffee stain, remains clean and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 4to. (10 x 7.75 x 0.8 inches). 118 pages. 51 photographic illustrations. Four-page section of color plates. [Neate B128]. Weight: 22.8 ounces. Hardback with DJ.
