London, Thomas Charde,, 1596.. 1596 4to in 8s. Three items in one volume. Bound in eighteenth century half calf, rubbed . Some wear on edges and corners, front joint tender at head but boards firmly attached. Contents clean and tight, with early marginalia in places. Occasionally trimmed close to catchwords. Babington's works on the Commandments and on the Lords Prayer date from his time spent in the 1580s as chaplain to the Herbert family at Wilton. He published his notes on Genesis in 1592 whilst serving as Bishop of Llandaff. The second edition of 1596 is expanded to more than twice the length of the first printing.
