Cincinnati: G.W. Lashe, 1880. 400pp. Original maroon cloth, gilt. Cloth sunned, especially on spine. Worn at spine ends and corners. One leaf with a long, closed tear, else quite clean internally. About very good. Babb was a Presbyterian clergyman who published some 400 letters in the JOURNAL AND MESSENGER in the 1870s. This volume is a selection of dozens of his Christian epistles
