About This Item
CDV of an African American gentleman. 2 3/16" x 3 11/16." This albumen CDV bears a gold border and depicts a young African American man dressed in suit, holding a short-brimmed hat in one hand. He rests the other hand on a decorative studio planter filled with flowers. On the backside is Mrs. S.A. Rich's pictorial imprint and the photography studio's Cincinnati address, which was in operation at this location from 1885-86. This CDV is on cardstock mount (light toning, wear to edges; mount with puncture to lower margin). Very good condition.
