This is the story of a lost civilization on a remote South Seas island. Originally published in the All-Story magazine in 1913, then in book form by A. C. McClurg & Co. in 1925. This edition bears 1925 date but likely published c.1927-1939 (per Zeuschner 82), listing 15 Burroughs titles for sale in the G&D catalog at rear of volume . With frontis illustration by J. Allen St. John. --- In full red linen-finish cloth-covered boards with titling embossed in black to cover and spine. Synopsis
The Cave Girl is an Edgar Rice Burroughs lost world novel. Originally two stories, The Cave Girl begun in February 1913 and published by "All-Story" in July, August, and September 1913; and The Cave Man begun in 1914 and published by "All-Story Weekly" throughout March and April 1917. The book version was first published by A. C. McClurg on 1925-03-21.
