London: The Royal United Service Institution, 1907. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Hardcover in half-leather and cloth maroon binding. Five raised bands. Title in bright gilt on spine Plain endpapers. Stamp on front free endpage reads "Sergeant's Mess, Lord Strathcona's Horse (R.C.)." The number 134 is handwritten under the stamped words. Small bookstore stamp on front pastedown page, Binding is tight, pages are unblemished, one corner is slightly worn. Illustrated with photos, drawings, and maps. 8vo. Page numbering follows a strange system. A few pages of interesting ads in front and rear. From the estate of Donald Skinner, Canadian military collector extraordinaire. Scarce.
