Doubleday, Doran & Company, New York, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Fair. VG HB in Fair DJ, now protected by archival polyester cover. Stated First Edition. 139 p.; 20 cm. Bright green cloth over boards with bright gilt decoration on front cover and gilt title on spine. Size: Duodecimo (12 mo; up to 7 3/4" / 17.5-20 cm tall). Text block is tight and unmarked, though the pages are slightly tanned from age. The only mark is a small (1/2") spot at the top right corner of the first page of Scene I. Binding is tight; corners sharp with a little shelfwear at the corners and top of bottom of spine. There is a small (1/2") water mark at the bottom edge of the front cover. The clipped Dust Jacket has a dark water stain on the spine and water rings on the front panel. There is wear at the front fold and chipping at the corners and top and bottom of the spine, as well has a large (1" x 2") loss at the bottom edge of the back panel, not affecting any text. There is a 1" closed tear at the bottom of the front panel, repaired by archival paper tape. Quantity Available: 1.
