About This Item

Chicago & London: University of Chicago Press, 1981. 1st ed. . p/back. Fine (-). 14.5 Cm x 20.5 Cm. xxix+236, Galileo portrait on p.xiv, several orig..text figs in translated dialogue, a brownish-red ink is used for headings etc., but also for substantial sections of the text - Drake's Preface (p.xii) has what seems to be a rationale for this but I cannot quite understand it. Aesthetically the two colour printing is excellent. Asie from some slight edge rubbing to bottom front cover and lower front joint (very faintly) this is a Fine copy. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
