Tall octavo, first edition, pp. xiv, 821, beige cloth boards quarter-bound in brown cloth, illustrated, 2 folding maps laid in (apparently not part of the trade release, these appear to be facsimiles from some other source), inscriptions on free front endpaper and half-title. As the subtitle indications, this covers a long stretch of history from the end of the unsettled time to the modern era of resort hotels and recreational fishing. Condition of this book: Covers lightly soiled, inside clean. Shipments outside the U.S. may be subject to local taxes. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
