This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Fair dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. There is some light bumping and rubbing to the spine ends of the book cover. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's inked name on the front pastedown page, along with the same owner's bookplate. The dust jacket has a long tear to the front spine joint, starting at the bottom edge, several other edge tears, several small chips missing, and all the white areas have light, but noticeable toning / darkening. The dust jacket price is intact ($3.00) , and has the full page photo of Salinger by Lotte Jacobi. .

Synopsis
