Brown hard boards with author's signature (gilt) on bottom of front cover and gilt lettering on spine. Nice clean, tight copy. DJ unclipped, shows edge wear and yellowing along flap borders. Two small tears and small piece missing on bottom of front spine crease. Overall rubbing to the cover. A family saga set in the economic and environmental changes that swept Montana ranch country coal fields in the 1970s. The writings of John Steinbeck and William Faulkner influenced this book . Grady is also the author of "Six Days of The Condor"; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; 383 pages .
