Hardcover. 434pp.; 3142 items; plus Addenda up to 3227 laid in; order of sale sheet which is chipped with loss of corner, also laid in. 4to; original pebbled red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Cover with fading to spine and portion of top front; minor wear to spine ends; splotch of black ink to bottom edge of title page, with diminishing effect to the next leaf (bid form). Pages 349-364 have a closed horizintal tear at right margin with increasing severity to just more than half of page 364. Prices realized in margins with red pen up to lot number 854. .
