About This Item
New York: Kinsey, 1936. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (New York: H.C. Kinsey & Company 1936). Publisher's yellow boards with brown lettering (and necklace design) to the front board and spine. A very nearly fine copy in a near fine D/W rubbed to the spine tips. Very clean boards and back panel. The NY Times was particularly scathing as to its review of this book: "The Case of the Two Pearl Necklaces is confused in its narrative, stereotyped in its characters and disappointing in all but the bare skeleton of its plot and the bare outlines of its background". Ouch! Uncommon. Photographs/scans available upon request.
