Fine in dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends, a small closed tear to bottom edge of rear cover, a small chip to top of front cover and a closed tear to the top and bottom edges of the front cover. Dust jacket art by Barye Phillips. After her stepfather Bertrand Allred finds a body on the driveway, Patricia Faxon fears she's the one who may have struck the man as she was backing up. The injured man is alive but wakes with amnesia and has no idea who he is. Bertrand and his wife Lucille spirit Fleetwood away to a remote location. Then, Lucille's car is found wrecked with the dead Bertrand in it, and statements to the police and footprints in the mud only confuse the situation. Perry Mason investigates. Sharp copy.
