This edition of Junior Press Books contains a childrens' story, set in the quaint and picturesque old town near the home of the Brothers Grimm, concerning the big event of the year: the annual chess tournament. Blue cloth with red titling and decoration on spine, colour pastedown in a red border on front with black titling, colourfully illustrated end papers, colour frontispiece, colour illustration on title page and throughout book, as well as a few illustrations in black and white, 64 pages. Text block edges and page edges slightly darkened, otherwise book is bright and tight. Dust jacket, which is not price-clipped, has edge wear, shelf wear, some light soiling, colours a little faded. This is a very attractive book in great condition. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
