Wrapper considerably tanned around perimeter, trace of filing label residue, internally fine. Uncorrected page proofs of the first edition. Foreword by Frans Lasson. Three of the tales were translated from the Danish by P. M. Mitchell and W. D. Paden, the remainder were written in English. Scarce.
