MA./Seattle: Kitchen Sink/Fantagraphics, 1995. First Printings . Paper. Set in the suburbs of Seattle during the mid-1970s, the comics follow a group of mostly middle class teenagers who, over the summer, contract a mysterious sexually transmitted disease known as "the Bug" or "the teen plague", which causes them to develop bizarre unique physical mutations, turning them into social outcasts. It was published as a 12-issue comic book limited series between 1995 and 2004. The first four issues were released by Kitchen Sink Press; after Kitchen Sink went out of business, Fantagraphics republished the first four issues and the remaining eight. A compiled hardcover volume was released by Pantheon Books in 2005. This collected edition, however, lacks many pages that were included in the first publication- the ones that showed some characters' faces. These pages are considered by some critics to be essential. This is a complete pristine as new collection of all 12 issues and are all…

Milano, Italy: Arnoldo Mondadori Editore [Walt Disney], 1971. Hardcover. Good. Signed by Illustrator. This copy is *AUTOGRAPHED/SIGNED* by Carl Barks the definitive Ducks Artist on the front fly, inscribed. 'To Norma / Carl Barks / The Old Woodchucker.' The Junior Woodchucks' Guidebook was Originally published in Italy in 1969 this is a 9th printing from 1971. It was translated into multiple languages, including English but not until 1973. There were eventually 9 or so volumes this is a copy of volume 1 before it began to be numbered as such. Any version of The Junior Woodchucks' Guidebook is hard to come by, a signed copy is possibly here-to-fore unknown. The Junior Woodchucks were created by Carl Barks in 1951, in the story "Operation St. Bernhard" (Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #125). Rubbing to the corners & cover, minor bumps to all corners with a somewhat more significant bump to the bottom cover corner. Some fade to the yellow spine (lightening). Clean unmarked interior.
