Condition notes: a clean, tight copy: top corners bumped, a surface scratch to front board, foxing to top edge; moderate wear and several small closed tears to dj; a date stamp (for some reason) to tail of ffep (but this is not an ex-library copy); interior else clean, bright, unmarked. An interesting story of combat in one of the true backwaters of the Second World War. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
