The text is illustrated with black & white contemporary prints, paintings, ship sketches, black and white line illustrations and maps, one double page. Dark blue coloured boards with silver coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper, "The Mutineers turning Captain Bligh and crew adrift from H. M. S. Bounty", with white coloured titles to the front panel and blue and white coloured titles to the backstrip. This book is reprint of the original 1972 book with additions by the author. This book is a re looking at one of the most famous of all maritime incidents "The Mutiny on The Bounty". Within the covers the author shows how the meeting came about, "characters and events are studied in depth and with understanding.". -- from the front fold over panel blurb. Slight rubbing to the corners of the book and there is minor shelf wear evidence also. The head and the heel of the spine somewhat soft.
