Joe Ely is a hard-working, sometimes bored rewrite man on a big city newspaper when his boss Mrs. Duncan decides to run for governor. Former owner's name and address label inked out on front endpaper; small area darkened on front flap of jacket. The jacket is lightly chipped and worn at the edges. Binding tight, text clean.
