Boston: DeWolfe, Fiske & Co, 1904. Hardcover. New Edition." 5.5 x 8.25in. xiii. 337pp. "With photogravure portrait of the author, 32 full-page half-tone engravings from designs by Clara E. Atwood and from original photographs, and 25 vignettes." Publisher's ribbed cloth with gilt and stamped titling and decoration. VERY GOOD. Shows marginal shelf rubbing along the edges, front and back hinge paper has split slightly but is still holding strong, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text and plates are clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
