Synopsis
Bob Rae was born in Ottawa in 1948. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and of Oxford, has worked in housing and legal aid in London, England, and also for the United Steelworkers. Bob Rae was Premier of Ontario from 1990 to 1995. He is now a partner at the Canadian international law firm of Goodman Phillips and Vineberg. His memoir, From Protest to Power: Personal Reflections on a Life in Politics , was a national bestseller.
