Offered is an original flyer headlined "CAN YOU ANSWER THIS DRAFT CALL? - Participate in the Delaware Division of the MARCH AGAINST DEATH - Washington D.C. - Thursday, November 13th [1969]" issued by the Delaware March Against Death out of Wilmington, Delaware. Measuring 8-1/2" by 14" and mimeographed on one side, as issued, the flyer begins, "The New Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam is calling the American people to Washington, D.C. to MARCH AGAINST DEATH in Vietnam and to demonstrate for life; for an immediate and unconditional withdrawal of all U.S. troops from Vietnam; for self-determination for Vietnam and black America; for an end to poverty and racism." Containing detailed information on the upcoming protest and the Delaware contingent which will be actively involved ("Delaware has 92 dead G.I.'s who must be represented"); bus and travel information; coupon with peace symbol to lower portion for cost of a round-trip bus ticket ($4.50). The March Against Death was the first of a three-day activist event, which involved a solemn march from Arlington National Cemetery to the White House, and culminating on Saturday, November 15, 1969, with the mass march on Washington, D.C. Previously folded twice for mailing purposes..
