London: Cambridge University Press, 1979. 1st Edition. Beige Cloth. Very Good Minus/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. Type: Z 850pp. Volume 3 from the Cambridge History of China series. Ex-library book with Charterhouse Library bookplate and sticker reading 'Not to be taken out of the Library' to the front paste down and a stamp to the reverse of the title page. Neat black ink numbers to the tail of the spine , two barcodes to the rear end paper and Charterhouse Library stamps to the fore edges. No bumps, clean and tight. Dust wrapper has some fading to the spine with neat black ex-library numbers to the tail of the spine of the wrapper and ghosting from a previous label across the tail of the spine of the wrapper. A couple of short tears and niks, now expertly repaired to the wrapper edges. Neat crease to the corner tip fo the front inner flyleaf and one vertical crease to the rear flap of the wrapper. Wrapper is ever so slightly loose. Clean - a very good copy.
