[Auckland presumed]: Caltex Quality Petroleum Products, 1940. Map. Gas station map on a single leaf of unusually heavy paperstock folded umpty times and in near perfect condition. Item, 8.5x3.5 inches, folds out to a verso map in colors, 35x20 inches further labeled "Caltex Road Map New Zealand North Island Te Ika-a-Maui, Main roads, Secondary roads, Mountainous roads, Cities and boroughs, Smaller towns and centres, Railways, Level crossings, Combined road & railway bridge, Mileages, Heights in feet , Aerodromes" plus some cautionings to drivers. Recto gives plat maps of urban areas, also in colors. Has faint handling grime along one foldline, a very good clean copy.
