Octavo size (8vo) in red cloth, gilt lettering to spine, bevel edges, top edge gilt, 121pp on thick hand made paper, approx 50 hand cut and tipped in illustrations (some full page) and decorated initials, 3 by Gordon Browne in colour including a colour illustrated title-page. This book would have been a very expensive undertaking since (according to bibliographies of Gordon Browne, Balliol Salmon and Frank Dadd) all the illustrations were done by the artists specially for this book, which was produced in a very small unnumbered limited edition for private circulation.
