A triple Ace and POW in World War II, later a three star general--the aviation career of Gen. Johnson. An unusual copy as it carries the autographs of many of Hub Zemke's Wolfpack, 56th FG, 8th Air Force. Sgned by Gen. Johnson & 12 other pilots including: Robert Rankin, Walker Mahurin, Gabby Gabreski, Frank Klibbe,Robert S. Johnson, etc. Gabreski had 28 kills, Robert Johnson 27 kills. All these autographs appear on the f.f.e.p. Laid in loose is a small color photo of Robert Rankin holding this very book right after he autographed it. Color laminated hard cover book & d/w both in near fine cond.
