Price of $2.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. A collection of two Saint novellas, the first hardcover trade edition (preceding the UK edition). Ahearn APG 039a. Near Fine book with a previous owner's name and date written on the free front endpaper and the usual age-toning to the pages in a Very Good lightly edge-worn dust jacket with fading to the spine panel encroaching slightly onto the front and rear panels.
Synopsis
Call for the Saint is a collection of two mystery novellas by Leslie Charteris, first published in the United States in 1948 by The Crime Club, and later the same year in the United Kingdom by Hodder and Stoughton. This book continues the adventures of Charteris' creation, Simon Templar, alias The Saint.
