Signed by the book's subject, brothel owner Beverly Davis, on the front free endpaper, inscribed to former owner "as a memento of our many happy times together on his trips to California." Rare thus, a few copies for sale currently inscribed by the book's author but not by its salacious subject. v, 442 pp. Original red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Early reprint. Very Good+ with rubbing along edges in a little better than Fair chipped, creased, and torn dust jacket, price-clipped with tape stain along fore edge, archival mending tissue on verso reattaching front flap. An expose of prostitution, lesbianism, and fetishism in Hollywood as recounted by local madam Beverly Davis.
